For initial experiments, we recommend testing a range of Click-iT® metabolic labeling reagent concentrations to determine the optimal concentration for your cell type and experimental conditions. Generally, reagents requiring labeling over 1 or more days may be added when the cells are seeded; however, some slow-growing cells may need time to become established prior to exposure to the labeling reagent.
